Welcome to League Hangar

Draft smarter.

Every league is different. Wingman knows yours.

Wingman learns your scoring, your roster setup and your league's own rules, then turns them into draft-day intelligence built for the league you are actually in. Spot value, see what the room is doing, and make the call with confidence when you are on the clock.

  • Built around your league. It reads your league's own scoring and roster rules, and asks you to confirm each one.
  • Runs right on your device. No account, no cloud, no sign-up.
  • You make the picks. Wingman helps you read the room.

These are real screens from the build you can download. The war room changes shape for the format you are drafting, and both keep the information that matters within reach while the clock is moving.

Your first draft?

Wingman keeps draft night simple. It shows you who is worth considering, explains why in plain English, and helps you know when to act and when you can afford to wait.

  • Put one player up and the room rules on him: take him, or wait, and why.
  • It says what it does not know in red rather than filling it in.
  • Every entry is an event you can undo or correct.

You make the picks. Wingman helps you see the board.

Been doing this for years?

Your league's arithmetic, not a magazine's — and a room you can rehearse in as many times as you like before it counts.

  • Snake and auction, each with a war room built for that format.
  • Replacement level is computed from your own starting slots, so a value is a value in this league.
  • Tier states, positional runs and what the room has spent, all recomputed after every entry you make.

Set it up. Rehearse it. Draft it.

Built for the way your league drafts

  • Knows your league

Scoring, roster limits, draft format, keepers, starting slots — Wingman values the whole player pool around the league you are actually drafting in.

Your league. Your values. Your board.

  • Ready when the Wi‑Fi isn't

Runs right on your device. Every number on the board is computed on your machine, so a bad connection on draft night does not take your board with it.

Typing a pick takes about a second and a sale under three, measured against two real completed drafts that ran at nine seconds a pick and twenty-one a sale.

  • Fix a mistake in seconds

Typed the wrong player, or the wrong price? Every entry is an event you can undo or correct. The room keeps moving, and a slip on a busy evening does not become a draft-night problem.

Nothing is ever overwritten. It is corrected.

  • Local‑first by design

Your league, your draft state, your targets and your notes live on your machine. Wingman does not need an account to help you draft.

Snake drafts

Know when you can wait

The best player available is not always the best player to take right now. Wingman reads who picks before you come round again, what your roster still needs, how much of the tier is left and what the room has been taking — and answers the question a snake draft turns on.

Can I wait and still get him?

Wingman answers with which way it is leaning, how confident it is, and where that reading came from. And when it has no reading at all it says unknown rather than dressing a guess up as a safe wait — because no average draft position is not the same fact as a low chance of surviving.

See the snake war room, or read how the ruling is computed.

Auction drafts

Auctions have a market. Wingman reads it.

A player does not have one universal auction price. What he is worth depends on your league's rules, what your roster still has to fill, what you have left in the bank, and what the room has been paying all night. Wingman puts all four on one card while the bidding is live.

Fair value
What he is worth in this league, from your own scoring and your own starting slots.
Room‑adjusted
The same number after the money this room has actually spent — because a cheap room and a dear one are not the same auction.
Hard stop
The most you can pay and still field a legal roster, and which constraint set it — the value, the cap, or the plan.
Room pulse
Whether the room is spending above or below the board, recomputed after every sale you enter.

Wingman recommends the number. You place the bid.

Practice before it counts

A practice arena runs the real room on scratch paper, on its own ledger, and you can reset it. Open one on a league you have already added and draft the whole thing on scratch paper.

Same board, same values, same entry bar, same ruling — the only difference is which log it writes to, and the real one cannot be reached from that screen. Reset it and go again as many times as you want.

You enter every pick yourself, exactly as you would on the night, and nothing here is written to your league's record.

Beta today

Wingman is in private beta and this is what that means in practice. Both lists below are the build's own, not a summary of it — the second one is read from the same file the software shows in its own About box.

In this build

What you get today

  • Windows only. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
  • ESPN leagues only.
  • Snake and auction, each with a war room built for that format.
  • A practice arena runs the real room on scratch paper, on its own ledger, and you can reset it.
Not in this build

What it does not do yet

  • This download has no draft link in it, and nothing here installs one.
  • Entering a pick needs a keyboard.
  • The end-of-draft audit is a command line, not a screen.
  • Nothing drafts against you, and there is no grade at the end.

That is not the whole list. The whole list runs to 15 items and every one of them is written down.

Wingman brings the intel. You make the call.

Wingman recommends players, values and a line to hold, from your league's rules and what it can actually see. You decide who to draft, when to bid, and how the team gets built.

Snake. Wingman recommends the player and explains why — and tells you when you can wait for him instead.

Auction. Wingman recommends the dollar value and shows you where the price stops being worth paying.

Wingman advises, and never drafts, bids, or decides for you.

What that means, in full.

Private by default

Wingman is built local-first. Your league setup, your draft state, your targets and your notes stay on your machine unless you ask it to read your league from ESPN.

No telemetry, no crash reports, no usage counts, no licence check, no update check. Installing Wingman does not create an account, and running it does not tell us you did.

Transmissions from future draft nights

Nobody has drafted with Wingman yet except us, so there is nobody to quote. These are invented, and they are printed here as inventions — because a marketing page that fakes a customer is a page you cannot believe about anything else.

Wingman talked me out of panic-drafting a kicker in the sixth. I owe it my season.
